Government Service Provider Relies on RUSH for Laptop Onboarding and Management
Overview
For more than a decade, RUSH has been administering a laptop onboarding program for a client that provides systems engineering services to the federal government. The client works in the transportation, telecommunications and financial sectors to support law enforcement, homeland security, national defense and cybersecurity.
Services Provided
RUSH provides nearly 500 laptops annually to support their ongoing computer technology needs and IT onboarding for new employees. The program includes online ordering, configuration, next-day delivery/replacement, and end-of-life collection, data wiping and disposal.
When new employees join, they receive access to an online ordering system to request their new laptop. RUSH delivers the requested items the next day. If a machine has issues or problems, RUSH provides a replacement the following day. When laptops are no longer needed, RUSH collects the machines and wipes them in accordance with data security protocols.

Metrics include “on-time delivery”, “CPU run rate” and “value of products rented/leased”, which helps the client understand how various resources are being utilized across the organization.
